Animal ID: 120412Roman (male)

Cairn Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Is Roman Benji reincarnated with shorter legs? Perhaps! This boy can melt your heart with just his looks. We are guessing at his mix but are pretty sure we are nearly spot on. Whatever Roman's mix is, he is sweetness, playfulness, love and devotion all rolled into one. Roman came to us from a home where his young human moved away and the remaining family didn't want him. We cannot figure out who would not want this boy - he is adorable! Roman is not a barker, is respectful, walks great on a leash, gets along great with dogs of all ages and sizes, thinks cats are interesting, and gets along great with kids. He is even crate trained ... (Read More)and walks well on his leash. At only two years old Roman is still young as dogs go but you know exactly what you are getting. He is around 12 pounds. If you would like to meet and potentially adopt Roman, read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent record (Less)

Animal ID: 120410Scarlett (female)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Scarlett is a beauty! And her beauty is not just skin-deep! Her gorgeous coat has so many different qualities we are honestly not sure we have all of her breeds figured out. We KNOW she is part Pomeranian and Yorkie with Chihuahua thrown in for good measure, but there could possibly be a little Poodel snuck in there too. No matter her mix, Scarlett is gorgeous and as sweet as sweet can be. She can be a bit timid when meeting a new person for the first time but comes around very quickly and will be giving a kiss and wiggle to them in no time. This little girl is only about 4.5 pounds and would be best in a home where any children ... (Read More)are older, and dogs are on the small side too. She gets along great with cats. She is crate-trained and is very eager to please. If you are interested in adopting Miss Scarlett please read on or go directly to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. Animal ID: 120404Nonie (female)

Chihuahua    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Nonie is a tiny and quiet little beauty with lots of love and respect for any family that is willing to love and respect her. She is a little shy at first but once she figures out who you are and what your intentions with her are, you're as good as gold. Nonie is about six years old and gets along great with other dogs and even respectful children, and cats are bigger than her so would put her in her place. Nonie does well on a leash and in a crate and simpy wants a place and family to call her own. If you are interested in meeting this cutie-patootie and potentially adopting her please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of ... (Read More)our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
