Animal ID: 120397Baby Equinox (female)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Equinox is as sweet and beautiful as her beautiful name. She came to use from a home that had had a fire and the homeowners could not bring their numerous dogs with them to their temporary housing. She and her littermates are sweet, silly, playful, and everything you would expect of three-month-old pups. Now all they each need is a family to call their own. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link ... (Read More)is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records. Animal ID: 120366Baby Vanilla (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Vanilla is 'yummy' in looks and personality. Part of the Sugar and Spice clan, their mama looks like a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) mixed with Chihuahua. We are fairly certain their papa was a Dachshund. Just under three months old now they are ready to go to new homes now. These pups are everything happy, well-balanced pups of their age should be. They will make great additions to nearly any family but we do ask that, due to their smaller size, that any children they will be around be over five years old. If you would like to meet and potentially adopt one of these lovelies, please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website ... (Read More)- throwmeabonedogrescue.org. Animal ID: 120398Teacup Flint (male)

Chihuahua    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Flint is one of those dogs that's 'so ugly it's cute', and he's more than cute - he's absolutely adorable. You've just got to get past that face. You see, Flint was born with a cleft palate. The home that he was in had never gotten medical care or vaccines for any of their numerous dogs. Flint has survived with his cleft palate thus far without any complications. His adoptive family will just need to be mindful of his condition and be sure he's not around things that he could inhale. Other than that? Flint is one sweet and silly boy. He's leery of very small children, and will alert you to new people coming into the house, but he ... (Read More)is not a nuisance barker. He is tiny and is one of those dogs you could fit in nearly anything to take along with you. He gets along great with other dogs that are small, and cats are fine too. He rides great in a car and sleeps through the night in a crate. He does well on a leash though it's not his favorite thing to do (he would prefer to be carried). If you would like to meet and potentially adopt Tiny Flint please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. Animal ID: 120399Onyx (female)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Onyx is a black beauty if ever there was one. A touch of white here and there only accentuate her beauty. But the most beautiful thing about this girl is her sweet and gentle nature. Onyx came to us from a home that had burned. Her people had to go to temporary housing and could not take their numerous dogs with them and so we stepped in to help out. These dogs were definitely loved. The only thing they are not used to is actually being picked up as it appears her people weren't able to do that - instead they prefer to jump into your lap. Onyx is just waiting for a home where her people can give her the love and attention she ... If you are interested in meeting Onyx and potentially adopting her please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. Animal ID: 120385Baby Luke (male)

Norfolk Terrier Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Han, Luke and Leia came to us from a galaxy far, far away. Actually they came from a Good Samaritan who'd seen them on a swap and sale site. Working together we were able to get the mama and papa altered and the pups are now with us to help them find great homes. These little guys are love bugs though they are a little on the timid side when they first meet new people. They want so much to be loved that they quickly overcome their timidity and give themselves over to puppy sweetness. Their mama is a Norwich or Norfolk Terrier mix and their papa is a Whippet mix. They definitely have the long legs of the Whippet and varying degrees of ... (Read More)the long hair of their mama. Their energy is not at all Whippet and they are all on the submissive side so would make great additions to any family. Luke is the tiniest of the three and that makes sense when you think of his namesake. He is the cuddliest of them all and wants to snuggle into the arms of anyone that wants to hold him. If you would like to meet and adopt any of these three, please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
