Animal ID: 120364Honey (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Oh, Honey! You've gotta love a face like this! Honey just finished raising a litter of pups (and she was very happy to be done with them) and she is looking for a home and family to call her own. She is small enough to carry and would love a lap and bed to share. Honey appears to be a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) mixed with Chihuahua. She has the telling underbite, and a snaggle tooth to boot! Her pups appear to be all that she is as well as Dachshund - go figure. (Her pups are still tiny and so will not be available until the middle of October.) When Honey decides you are a good person you are golden. She enjoys a calm environment and ... (Read More)would be best around older kids, if any. She does tend to bark a bit but can be trained out of it - she just needs to know her people are in charge and she doesn't need to alert them to anything. Honey gets along well with other dogs and should be fine with most cats. She does great in the car and on lead as well. If you would like to meet and potentially adopt this girl, please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. If you would like to meet this All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records. Animal ID: 120389Hamlet (male)

Affenpinscher Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hamlet is one sophisticated fellow, he knows his name and thinks he wears it well. Only about two years old and on the larger side of a small dog, he's not easy to carry but makes a great lap dog. Hamlet has been great around other dogs but isn't very tolerant of silly, excited dog behavior - it's apparently beneath him. He gets along great with other sophisticated dogs, both large and small. Give him a few more weeks for his hormones to dissipate and he may come around to the silly side as well. We haven't had him around a cat yet so can't say how he would be around any. Respectful kids over five years old should be fine though he ... (Read More)may prefer kids closer to ten and older. Hamlet is great on a leash though he's still trying to figure out what 'heel' means. He also is great on car rides and adapted well to sleeping in a crate through the night. If you would like to meet and potentially adopted this super sweet sophisticated young man then read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. Poodle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

It's a me, Mario! Oh, how sweet this little guy is! And what a face! How can anyone help but love him? We know for sure the mama of Mario and Luigi was a Poodle and our best guess is that their daddy was perhaps a Cairn Terrier? These little guys are somewhere between eight and 10 weeks old and will be all set to go to new homes as early as 9/6. They are as house-trained as pups their age can be, and will go on pee pads, so it will be up to their new families to continue their good habits and teach them the rest of the ropes with proper toileting. These two have been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and children of all ages and ... (Read More)do great with them (we expect all children and dogs to be supervised together).
